Unlike their heroic colleagues on the force, desk-bound NYPD detectives Gamble and Hoitz do not make headlines on a daily basis. Gamble enjoys his job as a paper pusher, but Hoitz longs to return to the streets and make a name for himself. When an apparently minor case turns out to be a big matter, the two cops finally get the chance to show their colleagues that they have what it takes.
